Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation seeks a Program Coordinator to support the Florida Team in executing program outreach, managing logistics, and supporting the administrative functions for all community forward programming. The coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring that all community events are well attended, and all its logistics needs met.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about supporting the Latino community in Central Florida and will be interested in supporting and learning about nonprofit programming, community outreach, and providing services to community members in need. The ideal candidate will have experience with community facing work and will understand the needs of the community in Central Florida. Additionally, they will have past experience managing and coordinating program logistics and reporting.
Hispanic Federation is a hybrid work environment and offers opportunities to work from home as programs allow. The current protocols require all staff to be present onsite (either in the office or at events) a minimum of 10 days per month.

Reports to: Office and Operations Administrative Coordinator
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of program staff members, oversee community outreach and engagement of community-based organizations (CBOs), raise awareness around Hispanic Federation’s services and initiatives with potential and current partners.
Prepare communication for review and approval to CBOs working with community members in need.
Provide on-the-ground support with all aspects and logistics of program events and actions, ensure events have all logistical needs met.
Coordinate materials and giveaways for community forward and program specific events with manager approval, work closely with Headquarters to approval all designs and approvals for purchases.
Work collaboratively across local and national program teams and serve as the point of contact for programs from other regions including HQ
Manage documentation and insurances for all programs, ensure HQ standards are met in all instances, work collaboratively with other regions to implement best practices including HQ.
Attend meetings with community based partners and other stakeholders as assigned, support documentation of next steps for any meetings attended.
Support daily operations of the Florida Office as needed, manage onsite events and ensure access to all materials for programs; complete additional tasks assigned, as needed.
Monitor and track outreach activities, gather data on community needs, and measure effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year experience working with nonprofits in community outreach, program logistics and management, and general administration is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is required, fluency in Spanish communication is a strong asset and highly valued.
Ability to work some weekends and evenings may be required.
Access to reliable and consistent transportation is required.
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and other office technology tools.
Strong attention to detail when managing programs and many moving pieces and competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a flexible and collaborative spirit.
Strong understanding of Latino and social justice issues and a commitment to Hispanic Federation's mission and core values.
Compensation:
Salary range is $35,000-45,000 and is commensurate with experience. Compensation comes with a robust benefits package with fully subsidized medical, dental, vision insurance, 403(B) retirement plan (including eligibility for a company match), and access to flexible spending and pre-tax commuter benefits. Full- time regular employees are also provided with fifteen (15) vacation days, four (4) personal days, and paid sick time.
