Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Program Coordinator for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be nine months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: Responsible for providing support and expertise to project / programme / resource managers
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Oversees the time recording and resource demands made by project/programme teams, ensuring that it is recorded in an accurate and meaningful way.
- Provide full range of project and resourcing support on selected projects and programmes.
- Coordinate and maintain Management Information (MI) which is timely, accurate and communicated effectively.
- Ensure projects and programmes operate within the defined Project Governance controls and meet the required recording standards.
- Provide financial and resource planning and management support to projects and programmes.
- Planning as required in support of project and programme governance (eg. Project plans; risk and issues logs, etc).
- Help develop and maintain resource model estimates and tracking / forecasting resource movements and spend.
- Coordinate, and where appropriate lead various forums / boards / meetings in support of project/programme managers.
- Trains and supports colleagues on process and tools usage.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or holds equivalent professional experience
- Previous knowledge and experience of project management methodologies
- Experience with MS Office programs and project management tools
- 10+ years experience
- Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: no specific degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Disqualifiers: Candidates with no financial understanding will not be eligible for the role. Candidates who do not understand how to problem solve through assessment and proactive action.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain a sharp personality quick to understand concepts, a good communicator and able to be detail oriented and speak at a higher level, very strong organizational skills. Fluent in financial and tech language. Experience in a Business Ops role in the tech sector.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on Quality of work and responsiveness. The ability to work independently in ambiguous circumstances with a high degree of trust.
- Minimum 5 years experience with financial literacy, Budgeting information, and technical fluency.
- Minimum 5 years experience with MS Office programs and management tools
- Minimum 5 years experience with with proven communication orchestration skills.
