Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for s Program Cost Analyst I- EV complaince position at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible to provide (to all levels of management) cost management information related to manufacturing. This position is responsible for reporting cost and variables on each program. Investigate and report any labor account variances, and monitor any impacts the accounts have to budget, potential causes and corrective actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Assist manufacturing personnel in preparation of weekly and monthly labor estimates for each program. Includes review of "to go" costs with manufacturing personnel and Management as well as Finance/Program Finance.
* Assist manufacturing in preparation of EAC Realism Reports each month, shows validity of reported EACs.
* Assist manufacturing CAMs with completing variance analysis reports (VARs) each month. These reports focus on variances related to Cost, Schedule, and Performance.
* Assist in investigating issues that arise in relation to audits; proper time charging, Quantifiable Backup Data (validation of work completed) adherence, and EAC changes.
* Assist management with special assignments in relation to programs.
* Assist in continuous training and improvement to processes for manufacturing to ensure Earned Value Compliance.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee's workspace will be in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting and shipboard in an industrial environment with exposure to moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or an Associate's degree in Accounting or related field with a minimum of 3 years of EVMS related experience.
