About the Job
- Lead the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of program staff, including group leaders and other program personnel.
- Manage program development focusing on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and project-based learning activities.
- Ensure all DYCD online database requirements are met, including weekly updates on attendance, work scope, program schedules, and staffing.
- Collect and organize data to ensure compliance with DOH regulations, maintain attendance and activity records, and generate reports as needed.
- Implement Challenge Based Learning, Clubs, and Health & Wellness workshops to facilitate learning in smaller groups.
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for students, families, and community members.
- Strengthen the connection between the school day curriculum and the after-school program through regular meetings with school principals and key staff.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing Middle School Summer programming.
- Collaborate with families to address and solve problems effectively.
- Lead monthly staff meetings to assess performance, discuss challenges, and celebrate strengths.
- Ensure program enrollment and participation targets are met in accordance with DYCD contract requirements.
- Produce program reports and participate in webinars, workshops, and meetings relevant to Youth Services.
- Represent the program at off-site meetings, conferences, and outreach events to promote the program.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Youth Program Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising youth programs.
- Familiarity with DYCD and DOH regulations is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster team collaboration.

- $40,000 - $45,000, commensurate with experience.
