About the Job
Responsible for the administration of Medical Services and Medication Coordination Units. Provides direct supervision of all staff assigned to these unit and clinical oversight of all services provided. Is responsible for all personnel functions of supervisees including hiring, evaluation, scheduling, discipline etc.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
- Responsible for unit's compliance with all applicable community standards and contract requirements.
- Assures all work load measures are met and data accurately submitted to CARE.
- Is responsible for unit's financial stability including approval of expenditures.
- Ensures that staff meets designated direct service and /or billing expectations.
- Provides clinical oversight of all cases and provides training to assist staff in development of their jobs.
- Performs Related Work as Required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must possess a working knowledge of mental health treatment and diagnostics.
- Must have the ability to work well with a variety of individuals including staff, community providers, consumers and the general public.
- Must be able to communicate well with others in both an oral and written format.
- Must have strong organizational skills and have the ability to delegate to others and then monitor the completion of tasks.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Must have Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or clinically related field. Must have current valid TX driver’s license and current and continued proof of liability insurance.
Hours: 8M-5PM with possible variation M-F
