Duties: Tasked with oversight of our tutoring programs, the Program Director will service the needs of a group of Summit’s clients, from initial contact through post-program follow-up. Our clients come to us with high expectations for their experience, and we seek to exceed those expectations through timely follow-up, a friendly and professional demeanor, and expert knowledge of Summit and the test prep industry as a whole. The Program Director's specific duties will include:
- Engaging in consultative sales, customizing Summit services to the needs of each family and recommending complementary services to the Summit client base.
- Engendering trust and building rapport, working alongside families and tutors through regular phone and email check-ins to ensure student progress.
- Serving as case manager for each family that commits to working with Summit, providing thoughtful and proactive pre- through post-program service.
- Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and tutor-client engagement in support of establishing an awareness of the status of tutoring relationships.
- Ensuring client satisfaction through responsive and proactive account management.
- Developing intimate knowledge of the standardized testing industry and Summit’s tutoring programs.
- Hitting monthly individual and team sales goals.
- Continuously honing and managing processes and systems for the above duties.
Requirements:
As a candidate for the role of Program Director, you will possess many, though perhaps not all, of the following characteristics and qualifications:
- Possess 3 years minimum of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- A strong commitment to being of service to others and pursuing solutions for our clients.
- Nuanced oral and written communication skills with an ability to clearly and concisely convey information.
- An interest in working as part of a team that supports each other in managing a range of competing responsibilities.
- An ability to prioritize multiple streams of work with strong attention to detail.
- Sharing Summit's core values which include being deeply caring, ethical, accountable, accessible, knowledgeable, and having integrity.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Experience in the test prep or academic tutoring fields is strongly preferred.
- Work Hours: In this full-time role, you will be expected to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST. Occasional evening and weekend work is expected.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary $57,000-63,000 annually
- Additional $1,000-$3,000 in bonus/commission annually
