Program Director at LESC

BASIC FUNCTION: The Program Director will be responsible for the overall function of the facility's programmatic component, including clinical, operational and financial.

MAJOR DUTIES:

Provide leadership and supervision to all program staff and assure maximum occupancy of building and program quality assurance.

Serve as the liaison between the Franklin Avenue Residence managing agents and community agencies.

Identify system problems in program and administrative domains and guide staff towards developing a plan of action that addresses the problem and document the solution in the form of program policy.

Monitor the intake of all new tenants and develop contacts with various agencies in order to refer clients as needed.

Facilitate monthly Tenant meetings, Case Conferences and Staff meetings

Work with the community to ensure positive living environment for all tenants.

Participate in LESC's Quality assurance program to evaluate, monitor, and identify problems and revisions to maintain Quality of tenant services and provide services in accordance with the current standards of professional practice.

Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

SCHEDULE: Full Time

RATE: $83,000 - $87,700 dep. on experience

LOCATION: Bronx, NY 10456

QUALIFICATION - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Position requires a minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Public Health and three (3) to five (5) years of Social Work experience two (2) years of which was at supervisory level. The Program Director will be responsible for overall function of the facility's programmatic component, including clinical, operational, and financial. Work with the community to ensure a positive living environment for all tenants.
