Job Description:
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- UAS systems engineering, logistics, and acquisition planning
- Coordinate, schedule, prepare and execute test plans and prepare test reports
- Technical and systems evaluation of new aircraft systems
- Coordinate, review and prepare final technical documentation to include specifications, engineering reports and maintenance reports
- Review and propose updates to engineering bulletins, flight manuals, checklists and procedures
- Conduct regular software reviews; Propose, review and recommend approval of software changes at the system and subsystem level; Participate in SIL testing
- Travel to test sites
- Security classification is required for this position.
- BS Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineer Degree is required and an MS is desirable
- In depth knowledge of aircraft systems, FAA procedures and requirements is required
- Five years of aircraft engineering experience is required
- Five years flight test experience is desirable
- Three years UAS experience is desired
