PROGRAM MANAGER
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
The Program Manager is the overall technical leader that is accountable and responsible for delivering the technical solution of water and wastewater projects of varying complexity in accordance with customer requirements and Inframark standards. The Program Manager is the primary Inframark technical face to the customer responsible for the health of the solution being provided. The Program Manager will work closely with the project manager while leading other project delivery and support resources as required to accomplish the scope on time and within budget.

· Lead, manage and deliver each assigned project to contracted scope, schedule, and budget to maximize customer experience, efficiency and profitability while demonstrating project delivery improvements over time. Exceeding key performance indicators around customer satisfaction, profitability, and quality of deliverables
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support project reviews with organizational leadership to communicate project health, risks, challenges, and opportunities.
· Lead conversations with customers to ensure the solution provided meets or exceeds the requirements while looking for opportunities to expand scope that embraces new solution offerings from Inframark.
· Responsible for complete project delivery, including, but not limited to, estimating, control panel design, resource planning, materials planning, automation, systems integration, installation, and quality assurance.
· The accountable and responsible person for the accurate, quality, and timely execution of the technical solution of a portfolio of projects.
· Monitor and manage project risks in collaboration with the project manager through proper risk management planning.
· Be an effective project and program team leader through collaboration and communication with operational resources assigned to the project or program.
· Coordinates all project startup activities with the Contractor and project team, which includes scheduling, troubleshooting, and meeting commitments.
· Evaluates project issues and finds solutions that are acceptable to all and are also in the best interests of the company.
· Adherence to defined organization work processes and tools.
· Develop a detailed assessment, project scope and requirements.
· Collaborate with field service organization on project support requirements for FAT, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, etc.
· Work with project manager and customer to receive project approval via acceptable means and approved process (i.e., P.O., contract, etc.)
· Develop detailed materials management plan within NetSuite, so buyers can place orders.
· Support the project manager track all internal and customer-facing meetings with detailed post-meeting notes and actively manage follow-ups. All documentation will be held in the designated document repository.
· Support individual project profitability through scope management, time management, materials management, and use of change orders, when appropriate.
· Lead factory acceptance testing with customer.
· Complete a post-implementation customer satisfaction survey.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
· The Program Manager reports to the Regional Vice President
· The Program Manager works directly with the Project Managers, Project Execution resources, Field Managers and Technicians, and RVPs to ensure alignment across all disciplines.
· The Program Manager supervises all resources assigned to the program and assigns / oversees their work.
QUALIFICATIONS
A four-year engineering or electrical degree is required. Plus, a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the automation industry and field service functions, with 5 years of experience specifically in the municipal Water & Wastewater industry. A proven track record of leadership and progressive project management responsibility is required. Excellent communications skills and the ability to build and constructively lead teams are essential.
Experience with sales and project estimation, knowledge and understanding of the National Electric Code is also required. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, contract documents and P&ID drawings is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods in front of a computer monitor is common. Hearing within normal ranges is necessary for communication with Field Service, other departments, and customers. Adequate vision is needed for using a computer monitor and document review.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job is performed both indoors and outdoors at Inframark A&I office locations and at remote jobsites. Activities include extended periods of sitting and regular work at a computer monitor. This job includes the potential of working irregular hours with demands outside of normal work hours/days.
