We are looking for a top-notch Program Manager to join our team.The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce program results in a timely and cost-effective manner. Manage program/project budgets from initial estimates during capture/proposal phases through cyclic cost status reporting to ensure profitability goals are achieved. This is an On-Site position.
Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a business or related discipline or greater than 10 years project management experience with more progressively challenging requirements.
• 8-12 Years of successful Program Management experience that embraces the full scope of program management preferably in a design/build environment.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
• Experience with DoD acquisition policies and practices and ability to communicate effectively with military personnel and organizations.
• Experience with US Government DOD or USG contracts including Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable Contract types.
• Must possess strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience.
• Proficient with MS Project and other Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
• Familiarity with business finance principles preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (active clearance preferred).
• Knowledge of and experience in firing range operations preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in systems engineering processes preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the daily management and supervision of the program from inception to deployment.
• Manage both development projects as well as production operations within the program's scope.
• Define program / project schedules, cost control tracking tools and scope management metrics required to manage the program.
• Manage stakeholder expectations including, but not limited to, customers and executive management.
• Monitor performance progress to meet milestones for projects.
• Manage the program budget and prepare cost status reports based on given financial inputs.
• Manage program risk and prepare tools for risk visualization and analysis including risk registers and briefing slides. Lead risk meetings with program team to identify risks/opportunities with appropriate mitigation steps and contingency plans should risks occur.
• Develop/coordinate proposals within assigned programs including coordination of Bills of Material, Labor and ODC basis of estimates, pricing, risk and proposal sign off.
• In coordination with functional team managers, lead and develop program team members.
• Make recommendation for the purchase of necessary equipment, services and/or supplies to satisfy program requirements.
• Review work product of teams for compliance with organizational objectives and goals.
• Report progress of work, goals, problems and other issues to supervisors, upper-level management responsible for oversight.
• Ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Review industry news, regulations and updates related to the organization's products, services, or programs.
• Be knowledgeable of range of EOS products, system architectures and capabilities.
• Represent the company at defense trade shows.
• Other duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.
