Job Description: Role Summary
Reporting to the Foundational Support Program Director, this position will lead the program management of the Enterprise Execution initiative. The incumbent will need to influence, elicit feedback from and collaborate with areas across the firm. In conjunction with business leads across multiple divisions, the program manager is responsible for identifying issues, analyzing alternative approaches, and leading cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Engages other colleagues/resources and assigns appropriate responsibilities to support achievement of program road map and project plan(s). Responsible for program management activities, including contingency/dependency tracking, status reporting, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, and internal/external stakeholder management. Provides oversight to workstream/task leads within the program; resolves any escalated project risks, issues, and dependencies. Manages the overall scope and timing of the program, ensuring delivery is on time.
Responsibilities:
" Oversees end-to-end program management activities within the Enterprise Execution initiative including oversight for the full project life cycle.
" Established effective, measurable OKRs that demonstrate the value of the initiative.
" Champion change management best practices for the Enterprise Execution initiative that drive clarity, accuracy, and transparency to program issues.
" Builds detailed project plans requiring significant stakeholder management skills and interpretation of diverse and varied information. Monitors stakeholder needs: recommends plan adjustments to meet changing needs.
" Secures, leads, motivates, and inspires the internal and external resources required to effectively deliver the program.
" Establishes the program's governance (e.g., sponsors, approvers, stakeholders).
" May participate in the evaluation, selection, and management of external resources or vendors.
" Provides transparency in project progress and effectively anticipates and mitigates major risks across the project life cycle. Proactively crafts feasible solutions to combat risks and issues.
" Manages communication with management at a detailed functional level and discusses/resolves issues.
" Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project(s). Will coordinate resources across organizational boundaries.
" Monitors program results/performance for significant deviations, evaluates options, and makes recommendations for corrective actions; implements selected actions.
Qualifications:
Required:
" Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
" 10+ years of total relevant work experience
" PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Preferred:
" Understanding of an asset managers operations, client engagement, and investment processes
" Very strong understanding of change management and best practices
" Strong influencing and organizational navigation capabilities
" Outstanding verbal, written (primarily PowerPoint), and interpersonal skills
" Ability to manage time and shifting priorities effectively while in a challenging operating environment
