Why is the Program Manager role important to us?
Quickparts is looking for a Program Manager to lead our technical programs from inception to delivery, ensuring customer success and driving project excellence.
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing a multi-site team and overseeing the complete program life cycle, ensuring that all technical requirements are met. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sourcing, quality assurance, and finance teams, serving as the key interface between customers and our manufacturing locations. Your technical expertise will be crucial in defining program scope, managing resources, and delivering high-quality products on time.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop program timelines and detailed technical specifications, ensuring alignment with customer needs and target deadlines.
- Lead the development of comprehensive program plans, focusing on technical milestones, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful program execution.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to cross-functional teams, ensuring that all engineering and production processes align with program goals and quality standards.
- Act as the technical liaison with customers, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and program updates throughout all phases of implementation.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technical deliverables, production efficiency, and quality metrics, using data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including technical specifications, engineering changes, compliance reports, and status updates for stakeholders.
- Lead technical audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to optimize program outcomes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ years of program management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on technical leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, specifically related to technical programs.
- Proficiency in program management software and tools, along with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Extensive experience with ERP and CRM systems for tracking program progress and resource management.
- Experience with CAD software for reviewing and analyzing customer parts.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on technical problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability, decisive leadership, and excellent time management in fast-paced environments.
