Job Description:
We are looking for NPD Program Manager who will lead teams through all stages of product development, clinical evaluation, operational readiness, and commercialization for Hemodynamic Monitoring products and related accessories. This role is responsible for managing program planning, execution, budgeting, documentation, and ensuring the timely commercialization of products while adhering to Company' quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with BD APM's Quality Systems and Change Control Process.
- Facilitate the creation and approval of business cases and prioritize resources across projects.
- Develop and manage detailed program plans, adapting to changes as needed.
- Execute program plans (quality, risk, communication) and keep stakeholders informed with accurate updates.
- Lead core team meetings, improving the efficiency of decision-making and execution.
- Serve as a program management expert, mentoring and guiding peers.
- Build trust and transparent relationships with teams and stakeholders.
- Cultivate a culture of urgency and accountability to meet/exceed project goals.
- Drive resolution of complex issues and maintain momentum during challenges.
- Influence at all levels to ensure project success.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing New Product Development projects, especially in the medical device industry - Required.
- Proven success in leading projects with Software, Firmware, Hardware, and Disposable components - Required.
- In-depth knowledge of Medical Device Regulations and Product Development Processes - Required.
- Strong leadership and influence management in complex organizations.
- Expertise in MS Office Suite and project management tools.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, balancing priorities across departments.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft DevOps).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to lead external meetings.
- Adhere to EHS rules for safety and environmental protection.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Systems, Electrical) or related field - Required.
- Master's Degree - Preferred.
- PMP Certification - Plus.
