Job Description
Participates in the development and implementation of an IT Project and Program Management (PMO) framework to more strategically manage technology programs and projects as a portfolio.
Provides oversight, expertise and direction to product squads to standardize project management practices. This includes, but not limited to, providing program management oversight and ability to influence activities on business-critical projects/programs from the conceptual phase through implementation.
Participates in the development and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management framework to improve strategic communications and solidify information sharing throughout project execution.
Proactively monitors and controls all aspects of projects, including oversight projects, to provide consistent status reporting to stakeholders regarding project financials, schedule status, risks, issues, business user satisfaction, barriers to success and overall project health.
Establishes, governs, and performs ongoing improvement of consistent processes, tools and guidelines.
Ensures projects adhere to the System Technology standards. This includes, but is not limited to, providing administration of repeatable, effective and efficient process management practices and driving process improvement projects by identifying areas for improvement and simplification within operations and technology solutions.
Partners with Enterprise Architect/Data Manager and other People leaders to understand and guide technical solutions to ensure the technical solutions are in alignment with the Business and IT strategies.
Establishes productive relationships and partners with product squads to escalate risks and issues and formulate and present recommendations to drive decision making.
Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies.
Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
Minimum 5 years of IT experience OR equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position: Minimum 5 years of professional project management experience implementation IT projects.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading projects with responsibility for the full project lifecycle.
Certified Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional preferred.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with emphasis on the ability to clearly communicate program information (including status, project financials, progress, issues, expectations and deliverables) effectively to various stakeholders (including team members, sponsors, customers, vendors, and senior management among other program stakeholders).
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain credibility with all levels of management and promote and cultivate quality.
Excellent ability to work with others in order to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships; demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence across organizational and management structures.

Proficient in project tracking and presentation tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, etc.
Proven pro-active, self-directed, results-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to meet IT objectives and achieve business goals.
Expertise in building consensus and influencing outcomes among business and technical leaders.
Possesses business process analysis skills and re-engineering experience.
