What you'll do on a typical day:
- Provide dedicated support to Operations Management teams in several areas, including issue resolution, operational performance improvement, adherence to contract terms and solution design.
- Handle customer expectations and provide recommendations for strategic initiatives
- Provide tools for operations management teams to run their day-to-day business efficiently, identify bottle necks or problem areas and provide insights for timely actions.
- Research data sources between systems for completeness and timeliness
- Verify accuracy of data and reports, and provide insights
- Act as a subject matter expert, assisting business analysts with operations and data-related questions
- Energize and ensure a Lean culture
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 5 years or more of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management
- Project management experience
- Confirmed logistics or supply chain management knowledge
- Experience processing large, complex, multidimensional datasets with data querying languages (SQL)
- A solid understanding of data modeling and ERD diagrams
- Advanced skills with SQL and Microsoft Excel (including Power Query & Power Pivot).
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources and extract insights for management teams to take timely actions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills; able to be conclusive, results-oriented and strategic in thinking and approach
- Experience preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases and presentations
- Solid analytical skills
