We are actively seeking a Program Manager to manage a large team of Government contractors, primarily at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
The Program Manager is responsible to Credence and the customer for the timely accomplishment of all contract tasks, deliverables, financials, resource management and overall customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and proven experience in managing large government contracts, proposals/acquisitions, a sharp business acumen, business development, and a proven ability to implement high-level programs in a dynamic environment.
- Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple projects, subcontracts and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Responsible for understanding customer priorities and directions, serving as the focal point for all executive-level and below customer interactions, mobilizing Credence corporate and team resources to fulfill all contractual requirements.
- Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of all contractual deliverables, ensuring overall customer satisfaction with Credence services, resulting in “Exceptional” ratings on Contract Performance Assessment Reports (CPARs).
- Monitor team plans and activities, identifying risks and opportunities while proactively taking actions to eliminate or mitigate risks and exploit new opportunities.
- Report status, plans, issues, corrective actions, and results to Credence and the customer, responding effectively to guidance and direction from Credence and the customer in achievement of desired results.
- Consistently staff the program with fully qualified, professional personnel capable of performing the contract tasks while exceeding customer expectations.
- Meet with Credence personnel, teaming partners and the customer to verify individual and team performance, reassigning or removing personnel as necessary.
- Understand the needs of team members and effectively advocate for their needs.
- Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential growth and development.
- Develop and manage budget/funding sources for customers and be accountable for delivering against established program goals/objectives.
- Analyze, evaluate, and manage/overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Facilitate weekly/monthly program meetings with contracting and customer.
- Technical skills required to write proposals, respond to primary contracting officer letters and develop solutions to meet client requirements.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret
- Bachelor’s degree(or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated programmatic experience in support of DoD/Federal customers
- Experience working on DoD/ government contracts performing all functional duties independently
- Experience in writing government proposals
- Willingness to travel, if required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to interact and effectively brief senior-ranking military/government/civilian leadership
