This position requires an experienced person with a strong background in Cloud technologies, Microsoft Teams, Office M365, InfoBlox, and Zscaler to lead and manage IT initiatives across multiple agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the deployment and maintenance of innovative technologies that support operational efficiency, security, and scalability within the public sector.
The ideal candidate will also possess expertise with Windows desktop operating systems, SCCM, Intune, and GPOs, enabling them to manage our IT infrastructure with a comprehensive understanding of the tools and processes required to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
Note: This position requires onsite work. After successfully completing the probationary period, employees may be eligible for up to three (3) days of remote work per week, subject to the approval of the division director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background and driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.

Work is generally sedentary, performed in a normal office environment. Able to operate a vehicle. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Lead a team of 10 to 15 IT professional engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure project goals are met.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cutting-edge technologies across our IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with inter-agency groups and over 50 county agencies to ensure seamless communication, alignment of IT initiatives, and project collaboration.
- Ensure all projects are executed with a focus on security, operational efficiency, and scalability.
- Coordinate IT projects in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Serve as a strategic leader, driving innovation and operational excellence across the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and OS environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) administration and deployment
- Expertise in SCCM for software deployment and maintenance
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for mobile device management
- Knowledge of InfoBlox (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and Zscaler for network security
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Proven success managing large-scale IT projects and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination
- Understanding of IT governance, security policies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to work in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
