Program Manager - Radioisotope Fuel Supply Chain
Zeno Power is seeking a highly motivated Radioisotope Fuel Supply Chain Program Manager to join Zeno's nuclear supply chain organization in establishing a radioisotope fuel supply chain to support Zeno's current and future contracts. This role directly enables commercialization of novel radioisotope power system (RPS) technology. In this role you will:
- Identify and secure supply chain pathways for radioisotope fuel sources to support Zeno's product lines.
- Engage with relevant commercial and government stakeholders to develop and implement pathways for Zeno to secure necessary radioisotope fuel sources.
- Work with Zeno's Engineering, Project Management, and Regulatory organizations to establish radioisotope fuel, radiological facilities, and transportation requirements for projects or products.
- Evaluate, make recommendations to management, and implement proposed radioisotope fuel development, acquisition, production, and separation strategies.
- Manage and evaluate commercial and government contracts with Zeno partners and subcontractors.
- Develop holistic lifecycle approach to managing radioisotope supply chain with inputs from internal project stakeholders, government and commercial suppliers, deployment customers, and transportation partners.
- Support Zeno's regulatory efforts as required, including drafting or reviewing regulatory technical papers.
- Prepare technical briefings and papers for meetings and conferences and interface with leadership team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering or related technical field and 6+ years of experience. Years experience may be adjusted for candidates with advanced degrees.
- Knowledge of nuclear fuel cycle and radioisotope processing preferred.
- Experience with radiological facilities and nuclear regulatory environments for radioisotopes preferred.
- Knowledge of nuclear regulatory environments for radioisotopes.
- Candidate must be a self-starter and able to interface with internal and external stakeholders with minimal direction.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and performing under pressure in an uncertain environment.
- Capable of managing activities that include many competing objectives and constraints, with the competency to resolve conflicts between objectives.
- Capable of managing and supporting numerous simultaneous tasks that require a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

- Travel: 20% to 30%
- Position requires in-office presence in DC (Mt. Vernon/Chinatown) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays OR remote from Richland, WA with occasional travel.
Compensation
The anticipated salary band for this position is $120,000-160,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
