Description:
Engineering project manager (EPM) with strong communication skills, issue/risk management experience, and scheduled development skills.
Experience with consumer product development working cross functionally with our Softgoods development team as well as manufacturing suppliers
Education/Experience:
BS Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering preferred)
Experience with mechanical product development, textiles, and/or color development of materials desired
Skills:
Strong communication and organizing skills
Detailed Issue and risk tracking
Schedule development and management
Spreadsheet creation
Cross functional engineering team coordination
Supplier coordination
Duties:
Creating and managing engineering development plans and schedules
Working closely with color designers and cross functional engineering teams to track and communicate status of day-to-day project issues, actions, and risks
Coordinating and driving engineering build activity with material and manufacturing suppliers
