Role: Program Manager III (Medical Device)
Location: Remote (EST Hours)
Duration: 12 Months on W2
Position Overview:
The Program Manager III will work in a remote capacity, supporting EU MDR (Medical Device Regulation) Program. Reporting directly to the Senior Program Manager for Strategic Initiatives, this role is responsible for supporting program management activities to ensure compliance with EU MDR standards, specifically for Class II/III medical device submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a detailed program timeline and ensure alignment with overall objectives.
- Enhance program processes to boost operational efficiency.
- Regularly update program trackers and compile program update reports.
- Support meeting facilitation, including taking minutes and managing schedules.
- Coordinate PMO deliverables as part of a program health improvement initiative.
- Lead remediation project management, working closely with program workstream leaders to oversee critical compliance submissions.
Specific Tasks Include:
- Support risk-based prioritization of program activities and adjust milestones as needed.
- Maintain program risk and decision logs.
- Drive process development meetings, assisting in the preparation of training materials for remediation processes.
- Create presentations for steering committee sessions.
- Identify and promptly escalate project risks, collaborating with the team on mitigation strategies.
- Provide cross-functional support and foster clear communication across project teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of program management experience, particularly in high-paced environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams within the medical device industry.
- 5+ years managing compliance, remediation, or new product development projects.
- Familiarity with EU MDR or large-scale remediation projects (preferred).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
