Job Title: Program Manager
Location: 100% Remote (Headquarters: Herndon, VA)

Clearance Required: IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) preferred

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to lead and manage our IRS project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracts and compliance, with specific experience working with the IRS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the IRS project, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Ensure project adherence to IRS requirements, federal regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the IRS and other stakeholders, managing communications and expectations effectively.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, administrative, and legal staff, to ensure project success.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure project continuity and compliance.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee project budget, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance project delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of program/project management experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing IRS or other federal government projects.
• IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) clearance preferred or the ability to obtain it.
• Strong knowledge of IRS and federal compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Financial acumen with experience managing project budgets.
