Overview:CAES is seeking a Program Manager to lead and direct all phases of customer focused multiple projects from inception through completion for assigned portfolio. This role reports directly to the Manager/Director of Programs and is responsible for the preparation of proposals, business plans, negotiation of contracts, proposal work statements and specifications, and financial terms/conditions of contract and act as primary customer contact for program activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead program review sessions with customers in coordination with internal team members to discuss cost, schedule, and technical issues.

- Establish executable plans and associate risk mitigations to achieve/exceed the annual business plan associated with Orders, Revenue, Profitability and Cash.
- Defines the objectives and strategies of the program, to include strategic and company objectives consistent with customer and contractual requirements.
- Develops and implements effective customer communications plans to provide timely communications, represent the Voice of Customer, build customer relationships, define customer objectives, and manage customer satisfaction.
- Controls the timely start and completion of program tasks to assure fulfillment of program cost and schedule objectives. Coordinates the creation of action plans with IPTs to execute contractual obligations.
- Coordinates the program activities with cognizant support functions. Assures the optimum utilization of manpower and program resources. Assures effective management of subcontracts and execution of the program material plan.
- Conducts regular reviews of program performance, evaluating the current and projected status against the approved plan.
- Implements a proactive risk management process. Assures regular team identification, mitigation planning and review of program risks, both during the program-planning phase and regularly during program execution.
- Measures and improves program performance through the investigation of improved processes, tools, staff training, facilities and team dynamics. Performs regular reviews of task estimates, challenging the team to eliminate wasteful approaches. Establishes a management reserve to provide resources for unexpected program challenges.
- Implements an effective issues resolution process. Assures regular team identification, action planning, closure and review of program issues.

Minimum:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years’ work experience in a related discipline within the DoD industry or a Master's Degree with 1-2 years’ experience
- Experience managing $1M+ US Defense related programs.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relevant internal and external relationships, with strong customer rapport and proven customer trust.
- Experience in successfully driving program performance against business and customer goals.
- Strong financial acumen associated with proposal pricing, contract negotiations and estimate costs at completion.
- In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) as this role requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years’ work experience in a related discipline within the DoD industry or a Master's Degree with 3-4 years’ experience
- Experienced Program Manager on Antennas, Precision Positioners, and/or RF/Microwave programs with the DoD industry.
- Multi-discipline experience in Program Management, Operations Management, Business Development, or Engineering.
- B.S in Engineering.
- PMI Certification.
- Active DoD SECRET clearance.

Salary Range: Program Manager II: $76,517.90 - $114,776.86 annually and Program Manager III: $101,194.93 - $151,792.39. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
