Program Manager
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Program Manager for a contract position in Minnetonka, MN. The opportunity will be eleven months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: As a Program Manager at client, your primary responsibility is to ensure successful project delivery for both business and information technology stakeholders. Youll excel in this role by effectively communicating, organizing tasks, and collaborating across project teams and leadership. Your ability to balance competing demands related to project scope, time, and budget will be crucial. Additionally, youll work closely with IT project managers and business stakeholders to prioritize scope items. As a facilitator, youll bridge communication gaps between internal and external influences, ensuring timely delivery and well-maintained budgets. The Program Manager will be leading operational and transformation initiatives in alignment with the overall vision, strategy, and goals of the organization. This includes membership and enrollment, claims, customer service, affordability, Digital initiatives, Pharmacy, Network transformation, etc., as well as additional responsibility for implementation and execution of client's long-term strategy and bringing our value proposition to life.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Healthcare background with experience working in a Payer environment highly desired
Leadership ability to lead meetings and engage a wide array of individuals across all lines of business and Product Teams, strong program and project managementskills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and move them to defined outcomes
Excellent communicator - written and oral
Understanding of transformation office and project management office development
Financial acumen and experience with business case development and budget management
Engage a team in defining requirements
Meets and/or exceeds time commitments
They must be confident and competent
Ability to present and engage with leadership
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business, or Public Health).
Experience in healthcare program management, preferably with payors and health plans.
Experience building project management offices or transformation management offices
