Senior Program Manager Experience and / or Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT Management or a related field.
•8+ years of experience in IT contract management, procurement, or a related governance role.
•Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software licensing, cloud services, and related vendor management.
•Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills and financial acumen.
Desired Qualifications:
•Regulatory experience.
•Proficient with project management and business software.
•Applicable advanced degree (MS or MBA).
Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation / CIO Briefing:
•A key expectation is you must be proficient in identifying, assessing, and executing opportunities to improve cost, quality, partner performance, speed to market and establishing strong measure and metrics.
•Document your findings, recommendations, and deal summary for executives.
•Capture decisions and action items via meeting minutes and follow up on timely completion of those action items.
•This specialist will help manage a technology intake process and triage and analyze IT technology procurement requests and offer informed recommendations.
•Develop and enhance governance frameworks while optimizing structure and requirements for IT technology procurement requests.
•Act as a liaison by working closely with all parties including IT, architecture, security, etc, to help ensure compliance with business practices.
•Develop upstream strategies and approaches necessary to aid technology rationalization/ optimization of the IT technology portfolio.
•Identify potential risks in proposed IT contracts structure and propose mitigation strategies.
•Monitor IT portfolio budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial planning.
•Stay updated on industry best practices, legal trends, and technology developments related to IT contracts.
