Position Title: Project Manager
The Joint Staff Security Office (JSSO) supports an operational environment that ranges from unclassified through the Top Secret (TS)/SCI level. These divisions provide various security services that include, but are not limited to, managing personnel clearances, in/out processing of personnel, SCI Facility (SCIF) management and accreditation, collateral space management and designation, protection of classified information, security oversight and inspections, managing security violations/deviations, classification management, marking, and safeguarding, Contract Security Classification Specification DD-254 management, and Security Education and Training.
The Project Manager Serves as authority to manage all task areas, various security programs, systems, and/or functions.
Location: JSSO North (Pentagon and the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA)
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI eligible
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct a joint Government and contractor kick-off meeting
- Participate in the development of the program's Transition Plan to ensure continuity of support for the JSSO
- Participate in the development, presentation, and implementation of the Quality Control Plan for the program
- Provide monthly inputs to the Monthly Status Report
- Provide for sufficient level of support to support the JSSO core missions
- Ensure contractor personnel are cross trained to provide for surge capacity when necessary
- Ensure that processing of received taskings through the Joint Staff Action Processing (JSAP) management system/Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2)
- Ensure that the program tasks are accomplished on time and with the requisite level of quality; task areas include:
- Program Management and Policy Support
- Information Security (INFOSEC)
- Communications Security (COMSEC)
- Personnel Security (PERSEC)
- Privacy Act
- Operations Security (OPSEC)
- Physical Security (PHYSEC)
- Insider Threat (InT)
- Foreign Disclosure Support
- Administrative Support
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Fluent in the English language and have the ability to read, write, and comprehend government documentation
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using basic Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in related security fields: INFOSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, PHYSEC, Internal Threat (InT), OPSEC, and Privacy
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (H.S. Diploma and six additional years of related security experience
- TS/SCI eligible clearance
- Knowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees, military personnel, contractors, and/or visitors.
