Description
- Manage a portfolio of complex grid interconnection agreements to SCE's transmission and distribution systems, from contract execution through termination.
- Act as the primary point of contact to external and internal customers on the project and contractual matters.
- Operates in a project management capacity.
- Regularly interacts with customers to provide landmark updates/guidelines, contract interpretation, project updates, etc., throughout the project lifecycle
- Leads meetings, develop agendas, summarizes and documents decisions and action items, and tracks project landmarks.
- Draft various contractual-related documents, including amendments to existing interconnect agreements, consent to assignments, termination notices, default notices, initial sync notices, and permission to operate notices.
- Applies technical and contractual knowledge to solve problems and customer requests and move projects through contract milestones and achieve PTO.
- Participates in technical discussions with engineering and project managers.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Typically possesses zero to three years of experience in managing large scale projects and use of associated management tools and techniques.
- Five or more years of overall experience in contract or program management.
- Experience working with contract regulations and agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop requirements, adhere to schedules, develop and execute project plans, meet deadlines, operate under tight time constraints. Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate moderately complex ideas and information to different audiences and levels.
- Experience managing or reviewing regulatory agreements/contracts related to FERC and/or CPUC regulatory tariffs
- Bachelor's Degree
- Electric Utility Industry experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
