Title: Program Supervisor
Salary: Starting at $70000 / annually depending upon education, experience, and licensure.
Responsibilities:- The duties of the Program Supervisor will include assisting the Program Director with overall supervision of the program including scheduling, covering shifts as needed, training, on-call coverage, and representing the program in the community as requested.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and evaluating the effectiveness of the program.
- Responsible for providing direct supervision of the consumers residing in respite settings and overseeing all support specialists.
- Completes chart audits to ensure electronic health records complies with agency and licensing standards.
- Manages discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Assist with staff meetings, meeting minutes, and maintaining training materials.
- Shares 24-hour on-call responsibilities with the Program Director.
- Utilizes SCM, CPR, and First Aid techniques as needed.
- Ensure completion of the comprehensive intake assessment and ongoing nursing assessments by appropriately licensed and credentialed staff; individual, group, and family counseling; Crisis Intervention Counseling; Explanation to consumer residents of their Page 35 of 63 rights and procedures in the event they are removed or discharged from the residence
- Clinical support for staff 24 hours a day.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of psychiatric nursing experience.
- A current license in New Jersey is required.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to multi-disciplinary staff.
- Employees must possess a valid driver’s license, and if duties require driving, be able to drive an agency-owned vehicle.
- Must be able to walk, run, lift, push, pull, and bend.
- Cognitive, verbal, and manual skills are necessary.
- Hearing and visual acuity are necessary; corrective devices are acceptable.
- Must be able to work under required deadline schedules, while being flexible to special requests and projects.
- Must be able to professionally handle stressful situations.
Crisis Diversion Homes
The program provides adults who have recently experienced a crisis working closely with the 988-crisis continuum. The program provides psychiatric stabilization and case management services in a residential setting to divert hospital admissions and emergency department visits. The targeted length of stay is less than 30 days.
