SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Prevention and Education Coordinator, the Program Support Specialist will be the initial point of contact for youth and/or their families seeking services either for Intake or Crisis. This position provides case management services for youth and their families. This position works closely with the Wellness Connection Team to create systems of care that are culturally informed and serve the needs of the community.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: | MINIMUM: 6 months to 2 years' experience working with individuals in mental health crisis. Must have an interest and knowledge of Native lifestyle and culture. PREFERRED: 2+ years' experience working with individuals in mental health crisis. Prior experience working with Native youth and families. |
Education: | MINIMUM: Bachelor's Degree in the field of Human Services or Social Sciences related field. Must have Person Centered Case Management (PCCM) certificate or willing to obtain within 6 months. |
Driving Requirements: | Valid Kansas driver's license free of occupational restrictions. Must be insurable with the Nation's insurance carrier. |
