Summary:
- Highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with extensive experience in developing and deploying Salesforce solutions. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for leading technical aspects of Salesforce projects, providing mentorship to junior developers and ensuring best practices are followed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Huntington Bank is seeking a strong Salesforce developer to bring an exciting digital transformation vision to life. The Consumer Business Banking Salesforce teams lean more toward programmatic development, and we seek a high caliber Salesforce Developer with technical expertise in force.com development and platform capabilities. This position is for someone who loves code and loves to work in a collaborative environment and in an agile scrum team context. To that end, our expectation is that this person:
• Contributes development and configuration skills to enterprise-wide Salesforce implementation
• Builds with scale in mind
• Stays up to date with the latest and greatest on the Salesforce platform
• Consults with scrum teammates to ensure technical integrity and best practices are incorporated in design solutions
• Is not afraid to say no to stakeholders who want to implement their own design
• Welcomes feedback on ideas, designs, approaches and other proposals
• Knows, and follows Salesforce programmatic patterns and platform best practices
• Conducts code reviews for teammates
• Enjoys exploring various problem-solving possibilities, proofs of concepts, and frameworks
• Communicates issues and implications early and effectively
• Executes testing on personal and team development efforts in coordination with QA lead
• Resolves production issues when applicable
• Facilitates discussions around changing practices to reflect new knowledge or circumstances
• Can document complex schema and share architectural structures with others in a digestible way
• Thrives in a highly collaborative environment and in an agile scrum team context
• Has fun while working
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years technical and business work experience developing applications utilizing Salesforce.com platform Salesforce toolkit and Force.com platform technologies: custom objects, controllers & triggers and workflows, Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOAP/REST based web services, and legacy Visualforce.
- Minimum of 2 years leading Salesforce-based development activities including design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating Sales and Service Cloud with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce applications utilizing API and event-driven technologies (e.g., Kafka or Google Pub/Sub) in a production environment
- Experience developing and deploying Apex classes as REST based web services
- Previously demonstrated project leadership on small to mid-size projects involving the Salesforce platform.
