Job Title: Database and Programming Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database and Programming Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Principal Functions: As a Database and Programming Support Specialist, you will provide essential database and programming support to our organization. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining databases, writing efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain databases to support business operations and application development.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Support ERP software, including configuring modules, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance.
• Write reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, Telerik, or other reporting tools.
• Provide exceptional customer service by resolving help desk tickets promptly.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and database tuning.
• Implement and maintain data security measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and software issues.
• Document database schemas, software architectures, and development processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in database management and software development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field.
• Strong IT skills and advanced knowledge of operating systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, SQL, C#, and HTML.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide exceptional customer service.
