We are seeking an innovative and visionary Programming Director to lead our programming initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our programming offerings and create engaging experiences for our members of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for children's and adult programming that aligns with the club's mission and values.
- Oversee the planning and execution of a diverse range of programming, including fitness classes, sports leagues, camps, and special events.
- Lead a team of programming staff, including instructors, coaches, and assistants, and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality programming.
- Collaborate with department heads, instructors, and external partners to design and deliver innovative and exciting programming that meets the needs and interests of our members.
- Monitor program effectiveness and member satisfaction through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize programming offerings.
- Manage program budgets, including forecasting expenses and revenue, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and club policies for all programming activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, Education, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a fitness or recreational setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programming initiatives for children and adults.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
