Project Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

• Project Accountant
• Temp to Hire only to start*
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project accounting or similar roles
• Experience working with project management teams or in a project-based environment
• Familiarity with project accounting practices and profit analysis, including tracking project costs (tracking and recording expenses, bills, etc)
• Experience with QBO is a must
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and pivot tables, and analyze financial data
• Understand and able to read a profit and loss statement
• Attention to detail is a must - high level of accuracy in financial reporting and data entry and ability to identify discrepancies or issues
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and team members
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Effective at prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Strong knowledge in double entry accounting and financial reporting (experienced with journal entries and debits and credits)
