Main Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:

• Enter and process Accounts Receivable
• Review, analyze and monitor job costing reports to ensure proper financial accounting of project to include committed cost reports, change orders, progress billings, cost to complete reports
• Ensure signed contracts are received, properly filed and all insurance requirements are satisfied
• Responsible for month end close process
• Monitor accounting/financial position of project to ensure timely reporting of revenues & expenses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 1 year of project accounting experience
• Detailed and well organized
