Main Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:

• Review, analyze and monitor job costing reports to ensure proper financial accounting of project to include committed cost reports, change orders, progress billings, cost to complete reports
• Ensure signed contracts are received, properly filed and all insurance requirements are satisfied
• Responsible for month end close process
• Reconciliations

Qualifications of Project Accountant

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Current or prior project accounting experience
• Detailed and well organized
