Overview of the Project Accountant role:

• The Project Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager
• The Project Accountant will be responsible for all full-cycle accounting functions of construction projects
• Manage sub-contractors
• Tracking lien waivers
• Monthly forecasting and budgeting
• Assemble client billing packages
• Prepare bank deposits, monthly reconciliations, and cash receipt entries

Preferred Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related experience
• Construction experience preferred
• Understanding of full-cycle accounting and project accounting
• Lien waivers and Pay Apps familiarity
