About the Job
Overview
The individual will be part of our Accounting Team in the Northeast Region and must be an energetic self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills. The individual will need to be quick thinking with solid accounting skills. The intangible characteristics we are looking for include detail orientation, the ability to handle large amounts of accounts payable and release of lien tracking.
Responsibilities
- Complete accounts payable vendor set up forms
- Process AP invoices in Timberscan and Rental Results daily
- Prepare manual check requests as needed
- Complete and process Field employee expense reimbursements
- Obtain Releases of Liens from vendors and Subcontractors for payments
- Support the weekly check run selection process and distribution of checks
- Update and submit monthly distribution list for coding Home Depot and Bank of America bills
- Support the preparation of the monthly accrual process
- Maintain various logs in relation to active projects along with other ad hoc reporting
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- College degree preferred, Accounting & Finance degree preferred
- Timberline/TimberScan experiences a plus
- 1-3 years of related experience. Construction accounting experience a plus
- Problem solving skill with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
