Job Details
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Site Superintendent project teams.
Qualifications
College degree preferred, but not required; ideally in Construction or Architecture.
2+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Position Requirements
Familiarity with the fundamentals of construction contract processes.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, essential for bridging communication among the PM, QCM, Site Superintendent, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Support in tracking job-related documents, such as work orders, change orders, RFIs, field modifications, and other items as necessary.
Collaborate with the project team to create, update, and monitor project schedules.
Assist the PM in preparing monthly billing invoices.
Review invoices from subcontractors and suppliers as needed.
Work with the Superintendent, QCM, and subcontractors to develop RFIs.
Facilitate communication and management of subcontractors alongside the Superintendent.
Support the PM in identifying and contracting with trade partners.
Travel required approximately 5% of the time.
