Duties, Responsibilities & Other:- For internal applicants, in accepting this position, it is understood that continued employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check
- Strong business administration and accounting skills
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are critical
- Ability to contribute within team that includes a variety of services, clients, and personalities
- Adhere to GAAP/FAR rules and regulations as related to KCI billing
- Comply with ISO requirements
- Interface with project managers, clients, subconsultants, and vendors
- Provide support to the operations manager and project managers
- Other projects as assigned
- Florida DOT invoicing experience is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting with 3-5 years experience required or Associate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting plus 5 -7 years of related experience
- Proficient in the use of project accounting software, with experience in Oracle projects preferred
- Experience with development and use of spreadsheets to prepare invoices, financial reporting, and project tracking
- Familiar with contract types and language
- Understand financial concepts
- Project accounting to include: contract review to assure proper Oracle project setup and management, complete assigned monthly billing and AR processes, contract and billing file setup and archiving, review project financial performance
