We are seeking a Project Analyst that will be responsible for managing the risk footprint and monitoring activity across various programs to provide a comprehensive program view. This position is full-time, hybrid, and a long-term contract that renews on a semi-annual basis.
What You’ll Do
Organize and manage the IT project team meeting calendar
Conduct meetings, take meeting minutes, and communicate outcomes to attendees
Follow up on open issues and facilitate their closure
Manage the travel schedule for all resources
Create requisitions and manage the timely approval process for both requisitions and purchase orders
Collaborate with the team on labor capacity planning to ensure program demands are reflected in sourcing requirements submitted to the IT PMO for allocation, and coordinate meetings with IT product teams to confirm resource allocation
Work with the Director or Program Managers to manage local contracts, engage with port agents, and coordinate with the Hotel Start-Up team to ensure accommodations for onsite resources
Develop presentations for the project-specific Steering Committee and manage collaboration with Project Managers
Support the integration of various tools to reduce duplication of efforts by analysts
Collaborate with the PMO team to manage staff onboarding, offboarding, onsite events, and orientation activities
Support the Project Management team in various project activities
What You’ll Need
Required:
3+ years of experience in an information technology environment
3+ years of experience as a Project Analyst
Strong leadership skills with proven experience in engaging with people and managing travel
Experience in large-scale IT-focused programs and projects
Basic knowledge of project management practices
Demonstrated experience in the administration of project activities
Strong ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet project goals
High degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while being able to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines
Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Webex
Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training
Desired:
Knowledge of Workfront and JIRA is a plus
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
