Our architecture studio in Austin seeks an experienced Project Architect to lead talented project teams in the production of architectural drawings and specifications while resolving complex technical and design issues to produce innovative technical/constructible solutions for extraordinary spaces. We need a well-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future. In short, we want a Project Architect as remarkable as we are. We want someone who is passionate about bringing out the best in a design, in finding the best way to tell the design’s story to the GC, and in making sure the built environment matches the design intent. We want someone who can attack each new design challenge with the knowledge that last week’s answer doesn’t fit this week’s question.

WHAT YOU’LL DO….
You’ll join the architecture studio, which focuses on producing functionally beautiful spaces for clients by combining creativity and technical knowledge. Depending on the day, your responsibilities will include:
- Act as day-to-day client contact and have the most in-depth knowledge of all the project’s facets.
- Facilitate project presentations that deliver a consistent message to the client.
- Oversee the documentation of a project, prioritizing and assigning tasks.
- Provide new ideas for architectural amenities and features to help our clients stand out.
- Coordinate with consultants on design and their deliverables.
- Give insight to project teams on a variety of construction types to help clients adapt to market demands.
- Ensure project teams meet deadlines and deliver consistent high-quality documents.
- Provide design and documentation support to the team as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS…
- Registered Architect required.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited 5-year program/school.
- 6-10 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in Revit and knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Technology forward thinking and top-notch graphics skills.
- Strong, comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices.
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
- Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancy.
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS…
- Working knowledge in parametric modeling (Grasshopper, Dynamo).
- Proficient in Rhino and working knowledge of Enscape.
