Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the design, development, and execution of numerous retail projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and a high level of responsibility, offering the chance to showcase your skills across a broad spectrum of tasks and challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process, from conceptual design through overall completion of projects.
- Develop design ideas and create design presentations, leading client meetings and coordinating with different stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed architectural construction documents at every stage of the project, ensuring quality control and compliance.
- Oversee the construction administration process.
- Coordinate with a team of professionals, including engineers, designers, and contractors, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to ensure the construction is in line with the design intent and providing solutions to any arising issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on architectural design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Proven experience in managing retail projects, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in architectural software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and building structures.
- High level of creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Must be a licensed architect or in the process of obtaining a license.
