We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of high-profile projects, from inception to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and a deep understanding of the construction process. The role demands a high level of responsibility, creativity, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the architectural design process, from conceptual design through detailed design development, while working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and other team members.
2. Prepare and review construction documents, ensuring they comply with design concepts, contractual agreements, and relevant regulations and standards.
3. Utilize advanced software tools, including AutoCAD and BIM, to create accurate, high-quality architectural drawings and 3D models.
4. Oversee the project’s LEED certification process, incorporating sustainable design principles into all project phases.
5. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
6. Conduct site visits, inspections, and contractor meetings to ensure compliance with design specifications and resolve any arising issues.
7. Present design proposals and progress reports to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure our projects remain innovative, efficient, and compliant.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on engineering projects.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and other design software.
4. Experience with LEED certification process and sustainable design principles.
5. Strong knowledge of construction documents and building codes.
6. Exceptional design and visualization skills, with a strong portfolio of projects.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to various audiences.
8. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
9. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.
10. Professional registration as an Architect is preferred.
