A Project Assistant/ Administrative Support Specialist is needed for a leading construction organization in the Atlanta metro area (near Cumberland Mall). The Project Assistant/ Administrative Support Specialist coordinates daily departmental functions for the engineering and construction teams including budget management, facilitating AP/AR functions, and coordinating weekly engineering expense processing.
Qualified candidates must have 1+ years of project coordination experience/ administrative support specialist experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and commercial AP/AR software. This is structured as a contract-to-permanent role and is slated to last 6-12 months before converting. Our client is only seeking local talent at this time.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
+ Receive, review, and process vendor invoices; prepare checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers
+ Handle billing issues, payment status inquiries, and disputes with vendors and customers
+ Reconcile vendor and customer accounts, maintain financial records, and resolve discrepancies
+ Track expenses, incoming payments, and monitor overdue accounts
+ Prepare aging reports, assist with financial reports, and ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations
+ Input financial transactions, assist during audits, manage files, and support the finance team
