Project Assistant - construction - Talis Group

Talis Group’s client is a premier construction company with Fortune 50 clients focusing in the commercial and industrial areas. Due to the high volume of business, they are adding an energic Project Assistant for their Louisville headquarters.  This position will provide administrative support to ensure project milestones are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrative multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Highlighted Duties

• Perform administrative functions and provide administrative support to project team
• Distribute project documents and correspondence such as the subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and all other project documents
• Clerical tasks, tracking hours worked, etc.
• Create, maintain, and organize project files according to company's guidelines
• Assist with bid process through all phases of projects
• Follow up with subcontractors/suppliers regarding project paperwork as needed
• Assist with job cost tracking, reporting and budget management

 Highlighted Requirements

• Must have successful experience providing administrative support
• MUST have experience with project administration in a construction industry (general contractor, mechanical/HVAC company, etc.)
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be willing to go the extra mile
• Must be self-motivated and flexible with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Must possess strong computer skills
• Ability to handle a large amount of walking to and from job site on uneven terrain, often muddy and difficult to navigate
