Project Assistant - Shook, Hardy and Bacon

Shook, Hardy & Bacon has an exciting opportunity in our Miami office for someone newer in their legal career to assists in special project work. This person will work assist attorneys and professional staff with cases by:


* Organizing expert witness files;
* Assisting in the reorganization and coding of witness files and updating section expert witness database;
* Indexing documents to be used in preparation for trial;
* Being flexible to changing priorities with urgent requests;
* and Traveling for trials, several weeks at a time.

About you:


* self-starter and collaborative;
* excellent communicator;
* organized;
* skilled at basic database utilization, Microsoft Word and Excel (table creation; reports);
* and able to type at least 35 word per minute.

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
* And minimum two (2) years related experience and/or training;
* or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Basic Microsoft Word and Excel;
* Ability to type at least 35 wpm.
* Valid Driver's License and ability to travel as this position requires travel and not all locations have public transportation.
