The Project Assistant plays a critical role in supporting revenue cycle management projects within the Patient Financial Services team. This role involves managing sensitive patient data, utilizing advanced technology platforms, and contributing effectively to team initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with various revenue cycle projects, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with policies.
2. Manage medical record extraction from the EPIC electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
3. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet productivity standards for tasks assigned within EPIC and other project-related duties.
4. Actively participate in team meetings via Zoom, engaging on camera and contributing to discussions.
5. Proactively follow up on action items and tasks, providing timely reporting and updates to supervisors or managers.
6. Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) for information tracking and sharing, ensuring effective data management and documentation.
7. Access, search, and extract data and files from payer and vendor websites, optimizing resources and information accessibility.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to handle complex situations.
- Effective communication and organizational skills to manage various project components.
- Proficient in computer and data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and speed.
