We are looking for a Project Business Analyst. The Project Business Analyst role is pivotal in facilitating organizational change, through identifying needs, proposing solutions, and supporting project management tasks across various initiatives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the gathering and documentation of requirements, business/use cases, and testing materials, ensuring their proper management and approval.
- Coordinate across various project phases, including business case formulation, requirement gathering, analysis, communication, testing, and training.
- Work closely with stakeholders and project teams to enhance project outcomes.
- Engage in RFP processes by delivering functional requirements, vendor evaluations, and scoring.
- Commit to continuous learning in business analysis, project management, and relevant stakeholder management practices.
- Drive process improvement projects, documenting process flows and mapping as necessary.
- Support in formulating strategic plans and their execution.
- Contribute to the creation of project success metrics and measurement activities.
- Manage project documentation tailored to project needs.
- Promote and educate on best practices and methodologies to stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree is required with at least three years of business analysis experience.
- An advanced degree in Healthcare, IT, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Five years of experience in business analysis, managing medium to large projects, and a year of project management experience is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of change management, healthcare/research operations, and risk management.
- Effective at collaborating and influencing various stakeholder levels.
- High proficiency in business analysis techniques and principles.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio for various documentation and presentation needs.
- Solid understanding of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and presentation abilities.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, CAPM, or ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt are highly favorable.
- Experience in healthcare, research, or academic settings is a plus.
