ARCO/Murray is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and experienced commercial construction Senior Project Scheduler to join the team! The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, results-driven, and come with a multifaceted background in project scheduling.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules
- Work with construction project team to develop schedule structure and layout prior to scope based development
- Track milestones, comparing actual progress to the planned schedule and identify any deviations
- Assist with the project team to allocate appropriate quantity and timeline of personnel
- Lead internal scheduling meeting with project team on a week or bi-weekly basis
- Identify and recommend any delay letters to be issued to owners and subcontractors and analyze schedule for underperformance
- Assess potential risks to project schedule and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks with project team
- Anticipate potential delays and work proactively to minimize their impact on the overall project timeline
- Support the scheduling process for 4+ projects concurrently
- Regularly update project stakeholders on schedule status, potential delays, and any adjustments on the timeline in a professional, effective, and concise manner
- Travel to job site to monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle on an as needed basis
- Assist in the preparation of monthly schedule reporting with the team
- Generate project-specific schedule reports such as critical activities and baseline deviation
- Perform Time Impact Analysis for delays or other events that occur during the project lifecycle.
- Assist with review of subcontractor schedules and recommend improvements
- Assist superintendent with creation of 3 week look ahead schedules while ensuring they correlate to the overall project schedule.
- Assist Project Team with dispute resolution between owner or subcontractors
- Maintain meticulous records of schedule iterations, modifications, and historical performance data, to create a comprehensive audit trail
- Drawing insights from past projects and industry benchmarks, they identify opportunities for enhancement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate project scheduling efficacy
- Provide occasional peer training on the use of scheduling software and theory
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven proficiency using Primavera (P6 or OPC) and Microsoft Project scheduling management systems
- 3-10 years of scheduling experience
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Proven experience working within project teams and independently
- Ability to travel to project sites nationwide and walk the job site as needed
- Prior experience with multifamily (garden and mid-rise) construction preferred
- Prior estimating or project management experience for a general contractor preferred
- Familiarity with Procore preferred
- BIM experience as it relates to scheduling and sequencing is preferred
- During the interview process you will be asked to provide a project list of prior experience and a Microsoft Project (or similar) schedule
