Techno Coatings is currently seeking a Project Coordinator/Administrator to join our growing team. This is a full-time position and will report directly to the EVP. In this role, you will support the Project Manager and Estimator in planning, organizing, and executing projects efficiently. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and maintain meticulous project documentation will be the key to your success. Qualified candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, drive to win, team mentality, good problem-solving skills, and be honest and dependable.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks such as creating job books and compiling data for project submittals.
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules with the direction of the project manager.
- Complete startup sheets for new projects.
- Read and review plans and specifications for upcoming projects.
- Assist with the coordination of projects with GCs.
- Responsible for projects from start to finish means you will keep track of them until it is awarded, work with existing team (Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, Warehouse, etc..) to prepare for the project start, and assist with managing the project as needed until it is completed.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and team members to meet project requirements.
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
- Track and report on project performance, analyzing the successful completion of both short-term and long-term goals.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees, management, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, time management
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with office software (e.g., MS Word, Excel.)
- Previous work experience within the construction industry is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Non-exempt full-time.
- In an office position, must be able to commute to Anaheim.
- Competitive rate $25.00 - $35.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
