Nakupuna Solutions is looking to hire a Project Coordinator to work as a member of the USMC Base Area Network (BAN) FY21 Modernization project management team to create, track, and ensure timely delivery of required project documentation. The project coordinator will also support the gathering and interpretation of technical information, enabling cross-team collaboration, and supporting change management activities. - Contribute to business Development initiatives by actively participating in proposal responses and proposal reviews.
- Overseeing the PMO support team and keeping track of and structuring various tasks, employees and documents.
- Assist in the creation of complex and professional documents that communicate project aspects to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in processing and management of base access passes and CAC applications.
- Work with management and engineering teams to organize and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
- Work with management and engineering teams to conduct and lead weekly Project Status Review (PSR) meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the creation of PSR meeting minutes and maintain required actions and activities lists for tracking project progress and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client-specified frequency.
- Assist Project Managers in maintaining project budgets.
- Manage subcontract payment schedules and client invoice schedules.
- Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining a project plan throughout the duration of the project.
- Keep Nakupuna Solutions leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, project delays, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
- Participate in Team meetings, client and milestone meetings; maintain ongoing awareness of project status.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments.
- Support the creation of processes and procedures governing effective/efficient project execution.
- Support the development and execution of cross-training plans to ensure continuity of operations, staff development and optimal product quality.
- Assist Nakupuna Solutions Leadership as required to prepare required documentation, deliverables, or other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
The following experience is required:
- Understanding of Project Management principles associated with Network Engineering, Information Technology and Agile Project Management
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Project)
Education/Experience: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information. It is highly desired that the project coordinator has an understanding and experience of networking, voice and data, structured cabling projects, and IT systems.
Military Installation Access: This position may require access to military installations. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
